I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the technology being used for the digital Renminbi?
From what I’ve read it has both p2p transfer and central issuance/monitoring, so seems it must have some form of dual individual and collective accounting mechanisms? In trying to think how it could work securely I thought of holochain.
It seems it could be a good system, the centralised elements not so, but in a way that might be a top-down/bottom-up trade off with the advantage being fast implementation and adoption. Once in place it might be quite straightforward to convert it to a mutual credit system if such a motivation came to pass perhaps, I don’t know. Curious to know what this community thinks?
