I used hc keygen and firstly its annoying that the keystore gets written to some .config/ directory, and secondly the conductor seems to freak out when I use these keystores.
Hm, that’s odd; what sort of issue does the conductor throw? Can you tell us the version numbers of hc --version and holochain --version? Wondering if hc is generating an incompatible keystore file, because some changes have been made recently to the keystore format.
